Open Educational Resources (OERs)

OERs--What are they and why are they important?

Open Educational Resources, or OERs, can be materials, studies, tools, or learning opportunities that are free to the public and can be used and shared without the inhibition of copyright or access restrictions. In a field that demands quality content for meeting high standards while oftentimes on a tight budget of time and finances, educators and students alike benefit from OERs.
