1️⃣ Complete this Google Form to reserve your ad space.
2️⃣ Create your ad using one of the methods below or hire the Yearbook Staff!
3️⃣ Save it as a 300dpi .JPG file.
4️⃣ Email it to liebrechtb@wvsd208.org.
5️⃣ Pay in the office or online based on the ad size.

Log into Canva.com → Click "Create a design" → Custom Size
Choose a template or design from scratch
Upload photos, add text, adjust colors & fonts
Click "Share" → "Download" (Save as JPG)
Email to liebrechtb@wvsd208.org
📌 Adobe InDesign & Photoshop
Save as a high-resolution JPG (300dpi) and email it
📌 Handmade Ads
Scan your design and send it as a JPG (300dpi)

2. Change the size of the slides
--File >> Page Setup
--Change the width and height to the exact measurement in the above chart
3. Design your ad... have fun, be creative!
--if you want to ad text over photo, double click on the photo, select Arrange >> send to back
4. Save your ad in the correct file format
--File >> Save As
--Name the file with the first and last name of your graduate
5. Submit your digital artwork, we will convert your ad with the correct resolution.

2. Change you preferences to use the ruler in inches
--Keynote >> Preferences >> Ruler >> Ruler Units >> Inches >> OK
--Change the size of your slides
--Click on the setup icon (cog) on the right side of the upper toolbar
--Click on Slide Size bar >> Custom Size
--Input exact measurements from the table above

--File >> Export to >> Select Images
--Name the file with the first and last name of your graduate

📌 Word
It is possible to create an attractive ad in Word, although it is not as user-friendly when placing lots of photos with text. This is a good option for simple ads with one or 2 dominant photos
1. Format you pictures to "text wrap." This will allow you to simply drag your photo where you want it on the page.
--Double click on the picture
--Select Wrap Text >> Tight
2. Create your ad within the exact measurements from the table above.
3. Save your ad in the correct file format
--File >> Save As
--Name the file with the first and last name of your graduate
4. Submit your digital art work, we will convert your ad with the correct resolution.
5. Email us your work to liebrechtb@wvsd208.org
***Please save your .JPGs to the highest settings possible or at least 300dpi. If you are unsure send us the original application file and we will try to make it happen.***
By paying and submitting an ad, you're acknowledging the following:
Ads can be purchased in the office, or online (the office will "fine" your student so the fee can be paid online).
Ads not in possession of the yearbook staff or emailed to liebrechtb@wvsd208.org by February 9 will not be included in the yearbook.
All ads are subject to approval by the WIMOAH editorial staff. Please remember that all ads must have school appropriate pictures, quotes, phrases and attire. Absolutely no references to alcohol or drugs. No ad may contain the following, but not limited to , images of drinking, smoking, alcohol bottles or red solo cups. Inclusion of any of these will result in a returned ad.
We cannot ensure the quality of your ad if you do not follow the requirements, especially resolution requirements.
