Perhaps you have heard, I am a Time Lord (The silver streak in my hair reveals my identity). I time-travel to all kinds of places, but this journey is special because you can go too. Click the audio link below to hear an audio recording of a recent trip that I took to the year 1946. The sounds you will hear are of me leaving my home (of that time frame). It is night, and a thunder storm is nearing. I get into my car (1946 Plymouth). On the way to the train station, I turn on the radio and listen to a familiar song. Arriving at the station, I purchase a ticket, and board the train. As the train departs the station, the storm is intensifying. I make my way to the observation car to watch the storm. The observation car is mostly dark. I can smell food, and I can hear music playing in the next train car, possibly a dining car. I find a seat in the observation car. A man and a woman are sitting apart from each other, evidently they are strangers to each other. The man strikes up a conversation with the woman. I listen to their conversation, and enjoy the night storm. After a while the woman leaves. Later the man also leaves. I walk back to my compartment where I to sit quietly and watch the storm through the window. Soon, I fall asleep. When you have finished listening, you may sense that you were there too.
