A System to Monitor Tremors in Patients with Parkinson's Disease
The developed system is shown in Fig. The signals acquisition in the extremities of the PD patient is performed by the Tremors Sensor Device; this device sends the acquired data toward Examiner android device where the application "Parkinson Evaluator" is executed; finally, the evaluation results obtained by the application are sent via E-mail to the treating physician.
A System for Finger Tremor Quantification in Patients with Parkinson’s Disease
The STEP is show in figure. The accelerometer is connected by modified 4-pin audio cable, which is placed in index finger of each hand. The STEP has a sampling frequency of 32 Hz and it is able to acquire the acceleration changes in the three axes (ax, ay, az).

Statistical Characterization of the Finger Tapping Test Using an Android Mobile App
The Finger-TApp mobile application allows to objectively quantify the amount of taps performed by people in the Fingger Tapping Test. It is an Android application developed in the Eclipse IDE, using the Android Development Tools (ADT) plugin. The flow diagram of the application is shown in Figure; in this diagram, the operation of the application is described in general form.
