Cityscape
I made a simplified image by blending a version that is mostly color with a version that is mostly lines. Here, in iColorama, I used a Water preset for the mostly color version, and Edges for the mostly lines version. The result resembles a pen and ink drawing with a watercolor wash over it.
I started with this photo from Pixabay, a source of copyright-free images.
In iColorama, I used Style/Water preset 9, with texture and distortion set to zero. This is the "mostly color" version.
I used Style/Edges, preset 7. This is the "mostly lines" version.
In Effect/Blend with Normal blending mode, I blended the edges over the water image, off center and a bit larger. Then I applied a bit of Effect/Raise.
