After 24 years on the bench as a Cabarrus County District Court judge, the honorable William G. Hamby Jr. has decided not to seek reelection. It was my honor to travel to Raleigh to file for his vacant seat. 10 years of practicing law in North Carolina has provided me the experience necessary to continue the strong judicial leadership in Cabarrus County. I have excelled as both a prosecutor and a defense attorney in both our District and Superior Courts. I have practiced both civil and criminal litigation. With my extensive trial experience, I have the knowledge of the law required to continue propelling the Judiciary in the right direction. In addition as the President of the Cabarrus County Bar Association, I serve on numerous committees working towards the betterment of our county.
I appreciate all of your support thus far and I look forward to getting to meet as many voters as possible between now and November! Most importantly, I look forward to the opportunity to earn your vote.
