McFayden Language For Travel 11

Language For Travel 11 is a Board-Approved course that I invented and developed in which students get introductions to 4 languages with a travel and tourism theme. I have taught it many times over the years.

The focus is on speaking and listening with not as much focus on writing and reading...and very little focus on grammar.

The languages that are introduced in this course are:

• French

• Italian

• Scottish Gaelic

• Spanish

You do not have to know these languages before taking this course. It is a complete introduction.

You can be in grade 10, 11, or 12 to take this course. There is no prerequisite.

This course is not a language 11 university entrance requirement.
