We are a self-funded start-up business. If you have ever started a business yourself or know someone who has, you know that getting started can be tough. (And switching careers isn't easy either!) Supplies, membership fees, licensing and insurance fees, education and resources, and of course gas all have to be paid for. They add up quickly and initial profits take time to grow.
The very best thing you can do to help us is to spread the word about what we do. If you've been a customer with us and were pleased, tell your friends about us (and if you weren't, tell US how to improve so we can fix that!). The key is to get the ball rolling.
A direct method of support is sponsorship. Contact us if you would like to help by sponsoring the cost of supplies, such as business cards, flyers, or magnets. You could also sponsor a membership fee or class. We will publicly display a thank-you for any sponsorship on our website.
Item donations can also be a great way to support us. These might include walking supplies like spare collars and leashes, emergency medical supplies, or personal protection for when we're out walking a pet. As another example, we LOVE having a collection of animal care books handy (see our Reading Recommendations under the "More" tab). If you would like to donate or purchase a book that would be useful to us, see our Reading Recommendations for a list of books already in our library, or just ask what we'd like next.
Perhaps a full sponsorship is a bit out of your reach, or you would prefer to leave it up to us on how you can help. If you like what we're doing, consider leaving a tip the next time we sit for you. Anything made goes back into the business. We don't expect anyone to give us technology, but perhaps several people can make it happen.
