How to Access Canva

Teachers and Students

Canva for Education is Available through Clever

              1. Sign into Clever

              2. Select the Canva for Education icon

              3. For teachers, Clever will roster your existing students so you can create Canva assignments. If your students can't submit Canva assignments to you, they may need to switch Canva teams.

Please Note:  Students and Staff are on Teams associated with their location.  If you have changed locations (school or office), you may need to switch "Teams" in Canva.  Guidance for switching "Teams" and Schools is listed here: http://bit.ly/4nwChWO

Other Staff  (Non-Clever users)

  1. Go to Canva.com

  2. Select Log In

  3. Select Continue with Google

  4. Enter your full PGCPS email address

  5. Click Next

  6. Enter your PGCPS username and password then click Login

  7. If prompted, follow the on-screen prompts for 2-Step Verification

  8. Click Continue

NoteS Concerning Canva Teams

  • Clever users, notice that you are joined to a school team based on your location assignment.

  • Non-Clever (most of Central Office) users will be added to the Staff & Admin  or ISSC team.

  • If your location assignment changes, your pre-existing content is accessible by switching between teams; you can copy designs to your new school team by following these steps.  This is also the case if you have switched to a different school or office.

  • Please read the Canva teacher’s guide, even if you’ve used Canva before – there are a few differences between our organization-wide version of Canva and versions you may have used in the past.
