I am Kristine Cardiel. I am a Social Studies Teacher at Village Oaks High School.
A quick note about how I arrived here at Village Oaks. I was born and raised in California here in the Central Valley. I attended Modesto Junior College and CSU Stanislaus. I received a Bachelor's Degree in Social Science with an emphasis in Geography, Political Science and History. I completed my teacher preparation program at Chapman University Modesto Campus. I married my husband after completing my program who was in the military and I began moving all around the U.S as well as overseas. I have had the privilege of visiting 18 countries and 30 of the 50 United States. While I was traveling around working with students in all different kinds of settings I was able to complete a Master's Degree in ESL instruction. My husband retired from the Army in 2014 and we returned to California to be close to family and allow my husband to pursue an opportunity to be a Professor at San Joaquin Delta College which is what brought me to Stockton and Village Oaks High School. My husband and I have 4 children and one grandchild. I currently teach U.S History and Student Government.
It has been a great experience working here! Village Oaks is a great school with great students and an amazing staff.
