Details for student arrival September 9 in Woods Hole are evolving.
Familiar Proctor Faces will be on site to support families.
Arrive 1:00 pm. Plan to arrive on campus where SEA staff will greet you and direct you to your student housing. Families will have their own activities to learn about life at SEA while students settle in until regrouping at a 4:00pm all together.
4:00 PM Program Orientation in the Madden Center for both students and families.
Light refreshment will be available during this Orientation Afternoon.
Families should plan to depart by 5:00 p.m. Students will have dinner together after parents and families depart.
As explained in the Program Guide, Ocean Classroom operates on a closed campus principal. Mail may be sent to campus (address to the right). After drop-off, families are welcome to mail their students and can expect 2 phone calls with advance notice. You will reunite in person with students on November 19th in Andover, NH at Proctor for the 2026 Ocean Symposium Presentation. Details on arrival time will be provided closer to the event.

GETTING TO WOODS HOLE CAMPUS
Travel From Boston:
The Plymouth & Brockton (scroll down after you click through for the Boston TO Falmouth timing) OR Peter Pan Bus Line has buses that depart Boston Logan Airport (if traveling by air) and Boston South Station (if traveling by train), to Woods Hole. With advance notice, we should be able to shuttle participants to campus from the Terminal.
TECHNOLOGY: Leave all devices at home and be aware that your phone will be collected for the duration of the program. Technology will be provided to each student to accomplish academic tasks as needed while meeting individual student learning styles. A few set dates & times will be arranged for planned communication between students/families.

Fall 2026 Course Track: Caribbean
SEA plans the course track for 2026 as Woods Hole to St Croix, USVI. This provides wonderful opportunies for shipboard exploration as well as a port stop in the Caribbean before finally landing in St Croix. Air Transport will return the crew from St Croix to Logan Airport where the Proctor Bus will meet them. Note that routes are ALWAYS subject to change at teh discretion of the Captain.
