Prayers for Homeroom
Prayers for Lenten Fridays
This meditation on the Passion concludes with the prayer "En Ego", prayed before a Crucifix. To it is attached, on the Fridays of Lent, a plenary indulgence under the usual conditions.

Homerooms must pray
Some years ago, we offered reflections on how to pray in Homeroom. This is especially important on days where we have no Assembly or Sacred Singing, when one of the Fathers will lead us in prayer. Commit to prayer everyday - not only because it is just towards God, but because He is so generous and wants to come to our aid.
Homeroom Prayer
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
Pray in silence for a few moments, making ourselves ready to hear from the Sacred Scriptures.
Someone then reads the Gospel of the day, or the reading from those for the Mass of the Day, without any liturgical gestures or introductions. (You might also, if time allows, read about the saint of the day.) The window below allows you to scroll in it to find the Gospel of the Day, which is the last reading in the Liturgy of the Word. It will change automatically everyday.
Spend another few moments in silent prayer. Then say together:
Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning is now and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.Â
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
FOR LATER
When it is a feast day, you'll be able to learn about the saint of the day, or read some commentaries below. (If it is blank today, there is no feast in the Universal Calendar.)

Hymn and Prayer Book
Though you won't have a device with you at Sacred Singing, you may still want to use the Hymn and Prayer Book for a moment of private devotion, or when you want to meditate on some of the Sacred Art it contains.
