Welcome! I am a Ph.D. Candidate in the Department of Politics, Princeton University. My main subfields are International Relations and Comparative Politics, and my research interests center about politics and security in Asia. Current research projects focus on alliance politics, particularly with respect to Japan and Korea. 

I am a Graduate Fellow at the Center for International Security Studies, and also affiliated with Princeton's Global Japan Lab. In September 2024 I began work as a Doctoral Candidate Editorial Assistant at World Politics.

Prior to Princeton, I worked as a Research Assistant at the Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs, on the Avoiding Great Power War Project. Before that, I lived in Seoul, South Korea; first as a 2018 Fellow for Korean Language Training with the Korea Foundation, and then as a Fulbright Junior Research Fellow, studying protest culture in South Korea.

I received an M.A. in Asian Studies from Georgetown University, an M.A. in Politics from Princeton, and my B.A. from Wellesley College, where I majored in East Asian Studies, and minored in Chemistry.
