Design is all around us, and there are some fantastic places to go and visit to broaden your knowledge about Design and Technology. The Design Museum in London, is one of Europe’s most admired hubs of design, with its sister museum in Copenhagen, Denmark. Plan a trip with friends or family, and enjoy the exhibitions on display-it may even help with your NEA coursework.

CAD Modelling Google SketchUp

Modelling is an essential aspect of Design and Technology. Being able to communicate your ideas is key to other people visualising what your ideas would look like if they were going to be made. Google SketchUp is a CAD programme that is incredibly easy to use, and gives you the opportunity to turn your simple ideas into a digital image that you can then manipulate and modify into a final solution.
