Jessica Salinas (MSLIS '22, Pratt School of Information)
As a special collections practitioner, I aim to facilitate accessibility and discoverability of information through public services. The projects on this site, which were completed as part of my graduate degree studies in Library and Information Science at Pratt Institute, demonstrate my passion for connecting with and bringing information to wider audiences in engaging ways.
Before setting my sights on libraries, I spent nearly a decade working as a vintage dealer specializing in mid-century clothing and ephemera. My personal research interests include textiles, the history of the book in the Americas, historic children's readership, golden era film, and any and all forms of correspondence.
