D2L has discontinued the "Introduction" box in the Quiz Editor area.

Previously, instructors could use the Description and the Introduction boxes to post different information about a quiz or exam.

For example, one box could have provided instructions about the exam (how much time, what kind of materials are allowed), while the other could have provided information about what to study and what kind of questions are on the exam.

The D2L Quiz now has only the Description box, and existing text from the Introduction has been moved to the Description.

Instructors should post all information and instructions about the quiz in the Description box.  Make sure to select the "on" button so students can see the Description.
