Sharing Recorded Videos with Students
Directly upload videos to D2L (up to 1 GB), or save elsewhere and provide a link.
D2L Virtual Classroom
For Virtual Classroom within D2L, instructors can select to record the session, and the recording will become available automatically. Students may also download.

Google Meet
For Google Meet, the video will be saved to Google Drive, and the instructor can share the link.

Strategies for Sharing Large Videos:
Compress the video using free software such as Windows Live Movie Maker, iMovie, Handbrake, etc.
Try to record the video at lower quality (if possible).
Use a video editor to split the video into shorter clips, and create separate videos for lecture, discussion, etc.
Share videos as zip files.
If uploading to YouTube, set the video to “private,” and make it available only to those with a link.
Upload the video to Google Drive and share the link or video folder with students.
