Post Everything Within the Module
D2L’s Navigation Bar (at the top of the page) contains links to Discussions, Quizzes, and Assignments. Many students can identify which of these activities are due by looking at the syllabus and then selecting the assignment through these links.
But many students get lost when they see a totally empty module.
Help students navigate the course by linking everything within a module. This includes PowerPoints, reading materials, video lectures, external video links, a link to Google Meet, discussions, quizzes, and assignments. Then, encourage students to access these materials through the module.
Click "New" or "Add Existing Activities" to link PowerPoints, reading materials, video lectures, external video links, a link to Google Meet, Discussions, Quizzes, and Assignments within the module. Then, encourage students to access these materials through the module rather than through the Navigation Bar at the top.
