Roseway Heights Middle School and SUN can help families access resources. School staff, students, guardians, and community partners can request support for RHMS families through our RHMS Request for Support Google Form (embedded below). You will be contacted soon after submitting the form.

Equitable Giving Circle : 5431 NE 20th Ave. (inside Leaven Community Center). Thursdays 10am-2pm. Free market for black and brown people.
Love Our City Food Pantry: 6120 NE 57th Ave. Tuesdays from 11am-12pm. Drive through and walk-up.
Highland Church Christian Center Food Pantry: 7600 NE Glisan St., Fridays 9am-11am. Emergency prepared boxes available the 2nd and 4th Fridays of the month.
Mainspring Food Pantry: 3500 NE 82nd Ave. Thursdays from 10am-1pm. Shopping style pantry until supplies last.
Mainspring’s Overnight Food Bag Program: 3500 NE 82nd Ave. During open hours Monday–Thursday 9:00am–3:00pm, ring the doorbell at the gate located on NE Fremont St. Pre-made food bags provide immediate food support for individuals in urgent need.
Makin' Groceries: 7137 NE Fremont. Tuesday-Thursday 11am-6pm, Friday & Saturday 11am-3pm. Pay-What-You-Can Cajun Cafe.
McDaniel High School Pantry: 2735 NE 82nd Ave. Wednesdays 2-4pm. Located in south building near football field parking lot. Shopping style pantry.
NE Emergency Food Pantry: 4800 NE 72nd Ave. Thursdays and Saturdays 9:30am-12pm, Tuesdays from 4pm-6:30pm.
St. Vincent De Paul (SVDP) Food Assistance: 503-235-8431, call Monday-Friday 9:30pm-3:30pm to request a food box. Pantry located at St. Charles Church - 5310 NE 42nd Ave. Tuesdays 4pm-6pm and Saturdays 10am-12pm.
Sunshine Division: Request a food box be delivered to your home. Sign up for seasonal/holiday food boxes online.

Roseway Heights Community Care Initiative
Started during distance learning, CCI is a parent volunteer-led project created to bolster the resource supports offered through RHMS and SUN. Currently, CCI is working on:
-Building kitchen supply boxes for recently-moved RHMS families
-Organizing rides for RHMS families to the PTA Clothing Closet
-Gathering donations of needed clothing, furniture, or household items
If you'd like to support any of these resource projects, please reach out to LRuoff2@pps.net.
Donate hygiene items and to support students and families in our community. These items will stock our "Help Your-Shelf!" hygiene shelf in the SUN office as well as be available to families. Useful items include: deodorant, body wash, laundry detergent pods, shampoo & conditioner, toilet paper, beanies, and gloves.
