Take out a piece of paper and a pencil.
Solve the problem using words, numbers or pictures.
Investigate: What is the weather like today?
Go outside and observe. Talk about:
What do you see in the sky? Is it sunny or cloudy?
If there are clouds, what do they look like? Do clouds always look like that?
Is it windy? Is it rainy?
What is the temperature like? (cold, warm, hot) If you have a thermometer, look at the temperature.
How does the weather today compare to the weather yesterday?
What do you think the weather will be like tomorrow?
Make a weather drawing of the weather that you see outside.
What new questions do you have?
Today, we will be practicing how to toss. A toss is to throw something lightly.
Watch this video to learn more about today's toss challenge. If you don't have a bean bag at home to toss, a pair of socks would be a great substitute!
Next, we'll be working on our catching skills. A catch is to take hold of an object previously in motion.
Watch this video to learn more about today's catch challenge. If you don't have scarves at home, a pair of socks would be a great substitute!
