Choose one character:
What are their positive traits? Do they have any negative traits?
Copy the graphic organizer on a piece of paper and use words and/or pictures to describe the character traits of the character you chose.
Writing
Find a notebook, composition book or paper and have your student write daily using one of the following prompts or about an experience they have had. You student may use lines to represent letters and words and that is ok. Have them include a picture with their story. There is no need to worry about spelling, punctuation or letter formation during this writing block.
Your goal is to let your student be a story teller.

Think about:
Can you hear the whisper from a different distance?
What if you hold a piece of paper or part of a paper plate around your ears? Does this change what you can hear?
What do you notice if you point the papers around your ears in different directions?

How to catch something that is below your waist
Pinkies together, fingers apart, watch it into the hands, close
How to catch something above your head
Thumbs together, fingers apart, watch it into the hands, close
Part 1: Balance and Locomotor
Balance the beanbag or sock on different body parts
Challenge with a time - how long can they hold it on their head without it falling? Hand? Arm? Foot?
Walk and do the above
Skip or Jump and do the above
Part 1 Toss and Try
Practice tossing in the air and catching it.
Challenges:
How many times can you catch it in a row?
Can you toss it low and still catch it?
Can you toss it high? How high? Be careful not to hit something.
Toss and clap 1 time, the catch
Toss and clap 2 times, then catch
Clap as many times as you can and then try to catch it.
Toss with right hand only (repeat tasks above)
Toss with left hand only (repeat tasks above)
Toss and turn 360 degrees before the bean bag hits the floor
Health Benefits of ORANGE Veggies like Pumpkin:
We should try and eat lots of colorful fruits and veggies or we should try to eat the rainbow to ensure that we are getting a variety of vegetables that keep our bodies healthy and strong.
The pumpkins we see around Halloween are actually an orange veggie that we can eat so they are a fun and festive way to eat the rainbow!
Orange veggies like pumpkin keep our bones and eyes healthy
Pumpkins are also high in fiber which keeps our bellies full.
