I’m looking forward to starting my fourth year in the classroom and my first year of student teaching! Right now, I’m studying at the University of Portland, but I’m originally from Southern California. When I’m not at school, you’ll usually find me baking, painting, drawing, playing volleyball, or enjoying all things Disney.

Hi, I’m Sophia and I am so excited to be one of the new first grade student teachers! I have been working in school settings since I was in high school, and I am currently a Senior Education Student at the University of Portland studying Special Education, Social Emotional Learning, and Ethnic Studies. I enjoy fashion, volunteering, and spending time with my little sister. I come from a multicultural and multilingual background and am excited to share my experiences and culture with the Astor community!
