Amrithanthu Vidya (Knowledge has no end) are the words embedded in the emblem of our institution. There is a growing enthusiasm and newfound awareness among students towards research, which is largely due to the emphasis placed on research by the institution. The institution aims to plant the seed of curiosity in the minds of students at an early stage. Once students develop a research-oriented mindset, it opens the door to greater avenues of exploration and innovation. Thus, the ultimate goal of education—developing students’ personality, creativity, and independent thinking—is realized. Keeping this in mind, the institution has identified research as one of its main objectives. Although the scope for research within the curriculum may be limited, students are often unaware of the vast possibilities that exist in the field of research. The institution, therefore, gives primary importance to imparting research skills that enable students to synthesize, analyze, and interpret information using appropriate disciplinary methodologies.
