Our First and Last Day of Kindergarten Self Portraits

This is by far my favorite day of the year! Students work hard to create their best self-portrait. When they're done, I have them turn around and take out their First Day Self-Portrait and hold the two side-by-side. There are laughs, awe and some embarrassment at their initial drawings but all I see is the amazing growth they have made since the beginning of the year.
