Read A Poem Each Day

Good Morning Pre-K!

Today I want to share with you a video of Mr. Jackson reading his favorite book! I also have a song for you to listen to. This song is especially awesome because even though it sounds like there are instruments being played, there are not! All of the sounds are being made by the people that are singing! How amazing is that! Can you make your voice sound like a drum or guitar? I can't! Also, don't forget to check out the question of the week! I love reading your answers!

I hope everyone is being a good listener and helpful for their adults at home! And remember, everyone has a choice! So choose ________! (KINDNESS)

I love and miss you all!

Love, Mrs. Croce

Good morning, and happy Wednesday!

I have a new story for you today, "Brown Bear, Brown Bear!". I hope you enjoy! I miss all of your smiling faces, and hope all of you are doing well. My son Rowen and I have done so much baking during our time at home! He loves to bake, and it is the one thing that he looks forward to. Did I mention, we have done A LOT of baking? We made cookies, brownies, a breakfast casserole, he's helped me get carrots out of the bag while making dinner, and so much more! He loves helping in the kitchen! How about you? Do you like helping mom or dad in the kitchen? What do you like to make? I wanted to share some recipes with you that you could do at home. These recipes are for painting, salt dough, and more. If you don't have what you need, that is okay because these recipes will be here for a long time!! Enjoy!

Good Morning Pre-K!

I wanted to share some pictures from this weekend. On Sunday, my family went to Broad Cove Preserve in Cumberland. While we were walking on the beach, I found the coolest thing! A horseshoe crab shell! As I walked around, I found more! This made me feel curious about horseshoe crabs. I don't know very much about them. I have attached a short video so we can learn together!

I miss and love all of you very much!

Love, Mrs. Croce

Good Morning PreK,

I just want to say I miss you all SO much, and I am hoping I will be able to see you all soon! I love the pictures of the horseshoe crab that Mrs. Croce has shared with all of us, and I too am very interested in learning about them. That is so cool that she was able to find them on the beach! I am putting some more read aloud's on our story page, so be sure to check them out. I have also attached below the Principal's Respect Catcher. Have a great day! -Ms. Tupper

Good Morning Pre-K!

Today I'm really missing everyone! I'm feeling a bit sad that I can't go to school and see all of your wonderful faces. When I was thinking about everyone last night, I was thinking about how amazing you sound when you sing "Just Be" and "The Mixing Bowl". I thought it might be nice for you to share that with your families. When I think about you singing it puts a smile on my face.

Please be well!

Love, Mrs. Croce

Good morning Pre-k!

Today I am going to sort through your paper fading experiment that you have all been waiting to see! I will take pictures of them, and post them on our unit page in the science section. I hope to have these up by the afternoon, so keep checking in. I think you will all be amazed by the difference it makes leaving papers in the window for one week, verses four weeks! Before I post a picture of your paper fading, I have a question for you.

What do you think your two pieces of colored construction paper will look like this time? Remember last time, we looked at our papers that hung on our classroom windows for one week, and noticed the color had faded, or got lighter. Do you think the papers that were in the windows for four weeks, catching the sunlight, got lighter then the papers we saw before? What about darker? Or do you think they will look the same?

I can't wait to share them with you!

Have a great day!

Love, Ms. Tupper

Good Morning Pre-K!

I hope you are keeping busy and that you are happy!

Ms. Tupper is sharing a great scavenger hunt today that looks amazing!

I also wanted to share this name activity with you! First, write your name on paper. Then find the first letter of your name and do what it says! Then the next letter, until you have done all of the letters! The first letter in my name is "S" so I would find "S" and see what it says. "Bend down and touch my toes 20 times", then I would move on to my next letter...

Please have a wonderful day and I miss you enormously! Love, Mrs. Croce

Good Morning,

I want to share with you this Rainbow Scavenger Hunt today. If you choose to participate, I encourage you all to draw what you find! I hope you all have a great day, and happy hunting! :)
