To achieve social distancing the classrooms have been reconfigured to allow for 10’ spacing between student desks. Some ancillary furniture has been relocated to maximize space in each classroom.
Cohorting
Cohorting
The daily schedule will be modified to include four (87 minute) instructional blocks per day. Students will each be assigned to a cohort that will remain in the same classroom throughout the day. Teachers will deliver instruction in the cohort's classroom. This will prevent individuals from mixing with students of other cohorts throughout the day. Band and Choir electives will be facilitated by pulling small group ensembles from the same cohort down to the band or choir room. Social Distancing for Band and Choir will be at least 12 feet.
