Special Support Centre

Our school has a Special Support Centre (SSC) for 16 pupils with speech, language and communication needs (a developmental language disorder) who have an Education Health and Care Plan (EHCP). 

The SSC accommodates sixteen pupils who receive specialist individual and small group support in a secure and structured environment. Speech and language therapy is also available.

The Special Support Centre (SSC) staff liaise closely with parents and will facilitate pupils’ inclusion in mainstream classes and the range of social opportunities offered by the school.
