Portage Education Foundation Scholarship Funds
The Portage Education Foundation offers a number of scholarship opportunities to graduating seniors (and in some cases, recent grads) at Portage Public Schools. The scholarships range from $100 to $5,000.
Seniors at Portage Central High School.
Seniors at Portage Northern High School.
Seniors at Community High School.
The Portage Education Foundation provides student scholarship though the generous gifts from donors. Each application has different requirement established by the donors. Scholarship recipients will be notified prior to graduation. Scholarship funds will be paid directly to the college the awardee is attending.
Please make sure you reach each of the scholarship requirements carefully, and fill out each application completely with detailed information, documents, or essays, as required. Incomplete applications will not be considered.
Important: All PEF scholarship applications and required supporting materials are due by February 15. Late applications and supporting materials will not be accepted.
The requirements for each scholarship can vary greatly so make note of the requirements for each application you submit.
If an application specifies that a transcript is required, transcripts can be requested through your high school counseling office, who will then forward them to PEF on your behalf.
Unless otherwise specified, required recommendation letters may be mailed or dropped off to: PEF Scholarships, c/o 8107 Mustang Dr, Portage, MI 49002. If mailed, they must be postmarked by Feb. 15.
