Junior Scheduling

Schedule Change Policies

Week One Schedule Changes (First Full Five Days ONLY)

On the first day of the semester, you received a printed copy of your class schedule.  On your schedule, you may notice classes different than what you originally requested.  While we understand that this may be less than ideal in some circumstances, only schedule change requests that meet one of the following three criteria will be considered:

1.     Incomplete schedule

2.     Inappropriate class level

3.     Dropping a class to add a seminar (though it is important to note that most seminars are currently full)

4.     Changing modes of instruction (e.g. face-to-face to virtual)

If one of those reasons applies to you, fill out the week 1 schedule change request form found in the counseling office.   Whether you request a schedule change or not, follow the printed schedule for now.  Your schedule will remain as is until you see the change in Skyward.  If you have an incomplete schedule, fill out the schedule change request form and email your counselor today.

Weeks Two to Four Schedule Changes

In weeks two through four of the semester, only the following schedule change requests will be considered:

1.   Level changes

2.   Adding a seminar

If one of those two points above applies to you, fill out the weeks two through four schedule change request form in the counseling office.  Note that if a request is approved, before the change is made, your counselor will reach out to you.

Weeks Five through Eighteen Schedule Changes

In weeks five through eighteen of the semester, only the following options remain for a schedule change:

1.  Complete the semester and develop a plan to improve.

2.   Receive an EW (early withdrawl), become ineligible, and be placed in a mandatory, no-credit seminar.

To proceed with one of the above options, contact your counselor to set up a meeting.
