The aim of this session is to introduce colleagues to the Active Blended Learning planning resources available for use on Moodle. The session will start by outlining the key elements of ABL and then take colleagues through the use of specially created resoures, based on the ABC of Learning Design, developed at UCL, and Salmon's 5 Stage Model for Online delivery, and the creation of e-tivities. The session will seek to reinforce and contextualise the University's Principles for Blended/Online Learning, and help colleagues ensure that ABL delivery is pedagogically-led, supports constructive alignment, and above all does not lead to reinventing the wheel!
