Introduction to Advanced Teaching Tools on Moodle

This module will have a strong focus on the approach to teaching in Virtual Learning Environment (i.e. Moodle) and it will introduce more advanced features. Attendants should have basic knowledge of Moodle and it is preferable if they have experience of creating a site on Moodle

Session Aims

The aims of this session are to:

• To demonstrate how Moodle sites can be enhanced incorporating a range of tools for teaching delivery

• To share knowledge of students’ preferences engaging in activities on Moodle

• To provide practical examples of the different tools that can be used in Moodle
