This session will provide a brief summary of the main copyright-related issues to consider when recording lectures.

Sessions Aims

The aims of the session are to:

• Summarise the key copyright issues for those using content capture

• Look at the specific issues relating to the use of images, video and sound recordings

• Describe some of the ways that images can be legally used in recorded lectures

• Introduce staff to the Copyright Guidelines for Content Capture (and the Copyright Guidelines in general)
