Introduction to Audio Feedback

This session will outline an approach to audio feedback in the VLE. It will examine the evidence base behind the effectiveness of audio feedback and outline good practice. This is suitable for academics who wish to try Audio Feedback for the first time and would like to have a better understanding of the tools available in which to do this. By the end of the session you should feel confident to begin giving audio feedback effectively.

Session Aims

The aims of this session are to:

• Introduce the concept of audio feedback

• Examine the evidence base behind the effective use of audio

• Outline the process for creating audio feedback in the VLE

• Discuss the application of audio feedback
