Accessible Content and Inclusive Curriculums

The Session will incorporate 2 themes:

1. Accessible education with Blackboard Ally. This Part will introduce Blackboard Ally, its usage in providing accessible materials and a demonstration of functionality.

2. Thinking about inclusivity in curriculum design and explore the beginnings of the decolonisation agenda.

Session Aims

The aims of the session are to:

• Identify the steps you can take to ensure all content in Moodle is accessible for all students

• Develop an understanding of the limitations and bias in HEI curriculums across disciplines

• Introduce the Decolonising Agenda
