Assignments allow students to submit a variety of different file formats from digital presentations to large multimedia files or even group project submissions. There are very few restrictions on the file types that students can submit to a FlowHandin assignment. Students can submit large zip files, PDFs, Word, Excel, Powerpoint, MP4, or images.
Students can submit files totalling 5Gb to FlowHandin assignments. This makes FlowHandin an ideal tool for supporting the submissions of student project for assessments or assessments with multimedia artefacts.
Marking within FlowHandin is provided by the "New Marker Journey" functionality which offers a unified marking experience for FlowHandin, and FlowAssign. File types that can be converted to PDF (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, images) will be converted automatically to allow markers to leave inline comments and annotations for students. More information about improved marking tools in Wiseflow can be found here.

Large file assignment (individual submissions)
Large file assignment (group submissions)
FlowHandin does not offer Turnitin similarity checking on submissions.
The FlowAssign assessment in Wiseflow is much better suited to the submission of essays. FlowAssign does allow for Turnitin similarity checking on student submissions.
We would recommend students use the Turnitin Draft Coach functionality within Microsoft Word (online only) to check the similarity of their assignments (up to three times) in advance of submitting their work to Wiseflow.
