In honor of Digital Citizen Week fourth grade created posters promoting Screen Free Friday which were hung about the school with recommended 'screen free' activities.

Classrooms observed the day in myriad ways including reading Screens Away, Time to Play by Kailan Carr, a fun rhyming picture book that introduced, or reinforced, the reasons for taking time off from screen use, and engaging in screen free activities promoting ‘Healthy Habits’, ‘Curiosity’, ‘Critical Thinking’, ‘Human Connection’, and ‘Creativity’.

We look forward to continued observances of the many ways of going screen-free by highlighting entertaining, educational activities to engage in either at home or at school.
