Nursery students have jumped right into Spanish this year, singing songs such as Buenos días by José Luis Orozco, and introducing themselves in Spanish by saying “Me llamo (their name)”. They learned how to express how they were feeling using a basic thumbs up and thumbs down, saying “bien” or “mal”. We’ve learned rojo, amarillo, azul, verde, naranja, morado, rosado and marrón. Nursery students are working currently on identifying numbers in Spanish from uno to diez. Ask your child what color something is or how many of something there are in Spanish!
