Third grade students started the school year off by participating in pin accuracy games, working on eye/hand coordination. Students played Guard the Pins, a game that specifically addressed eye/hand coordination and large motor skills. Third graders played soldier and section soccer where they incorporated dribbling, passing, offensive play design, and goaltending skills into each game. Section soccer emphasized components of position play and teamwork in addition to multiple soccer skills.
