During class time, first grade students have enjoyed picture books such as The Hair of Zoe Fleefenbacher Goes to School by Laurie Halse Anderson, Penelope Rex and the Problem with Pets by Ryan T. Higgins, and Rafi and Rosi by Lulu Delacre. In addition to picture books, each class listened to a chapter book, either The Magical Ms. Plum by Bonny Becker or Socks by Beverly Cleary.
