Kindergarten Art

Our Kindergarten artists are quickly adapting to life in the art studios. They are learning about our choice-based program, spaces, stations, and routines. To date, the students have explored four stations: drawing, block construction (architecture), printmaking, and watercolor painting. In the upcoming classes, students will learn about creating paper and cardboard sculptures, as well as painting on canvas. The children are encouraged to experiment with ideas, materials, and techniques in all areas as they develop their artistic sensibilities and collective responsibilities within our shared studios.
