We ended the week with a Fun Friday Math challenge! Great teamwork 4th Grade!
RECESS!
Mr. Burgos and his mom Ms. Burgos lead a lesson on Puerto Rico for 4th Grade. We learned all about the food, music and cultural experiences of the Burgos family. We then took all we learned and in groups researched the areas of food, dance, music, nature and sports in relation to Puerto Rico. Thank you Mr. Burgos and Ms. Burgos!
We practiced annotating as we started reading our new text Rez Dogs.
Ms. Penn introduced 4th graders to the Continental Math League competition and together we practiced solving challenging problems! We can't wait to participate this year.
