Students from all divisions, Lower, Middle, and Upper School, came together to celebrate Solidarity Day. Fourth graders enjoyed meaningful conversations with Upper School students about what solidarity means to them and ways they can be inclusive, supportive allies within our school community.
We celebrated the end of our memoir unit with a publishing party, where students shared small-moment stories that revealed what they’ve learned about themselves and the world around them.
Fourth grade concluded our novel study of Rez Dogs by Joseph Bruchac with personalized projects. Each student created a poster, book, or interview exploring one of the book’s themes—family, community, nature, cultural identity, or overcoming challenges. Students loved sharing their own stories and learning more about one another.
