My dad was in the army stationed at Fort Lewis. Photo taken at Larrabee State Park in Bellingham, WA. I've seen similar rock formations in British Columbia, presumably caused by uneven ocean erosion.

My mom was born in Bellingham, WA. She met my dad at a USO event. They married in 1945. She knew Charles Xavier and Frances Larrabee, children of Charles Larrabee a billionaire who donated the land for Washington's first state park, located on Samish Bay in Bellingham.
