Sports & Activities News:

Congratulations to the Boys Varsity Basketball team on winning their first District game against Plattsburg. They will play again Thursday evening

Congratulations to Chase Wilson and Allexa Storts as they have won their matches at State to advance to the Championship rounds tonight at 5:45pm!

Congratulations to Kyle Kipping, Ethan Wattenbarger, Owen Horner and Ryan Robison for finishing 4th as a team out of 21 teams in the National Ag Challenge at the Western Farm Show on Friday, February 20th. Teams were from Missouri and Kansas.  During the event they took a test, troubleshooting issues with a tractor and also addressed customer complaints. This is the 1st year Polo FFA competed and this is the 2nd year for the event. Kyle finished as 7th high individual in the contest.

HS Baseball practice will begin  on Monday, 3/2. Be sure to have current & complete sports physicals on file in the HS Office or give to the office before practice.

HS Track practice will begin after school on Tuesday, 3/3. Be sure to have current & complete sports physicals on file in the HS Office or give to the office before practice.

JH Track practice will begin on Monday, 3/16. Be sure to have current & complete sports physicals on file in the HS Office or give to the office before practice.

Polo Youth Sports Organization Summer Ball Sign ups will be 3/9 & 3/12 6-7pm at Stagecoach Park (White building by playset). Forms are available in the HS or Elementary Offices.

HS Track practice begins Tuesday, 3/3 after school. You must have a current sports physical and annual form on file or turn into the coach at practice.

There will  an Umpire Clinic for the Polo Youth Sports Organization Summer Ball on 4/26 at 3pm at Braymer High School. Umpires must at least be High School age. You will get paid cash every home game you work! Contact Mrs. Emilly Mellon for questions or to let her know you're interested.

Congratulations to Gable Crouse and Libby Norton for being selected this year's Court-Mat Warming King and Queen!

The Courtwarming Dance has been rescheduled for Friday, 3/6 from 8-10pm in the Multi-purpose room.

Announcements:

The Caldwell County Nutrition Center will have Brunch on the 1st and  3rd Sundays from 10:30-1:30pm. Adults $10/Children $5 - All Welcome, come enjoy biscuits & gravy, eggs, potatoes, pancakes, juice, coffee, milk, etc.

Congratulations to Polo Panther, Jon Allen, who won the Caldwell County Spelling Bee with the championship word: magnanimous! He will compete next at the Regional Spelling bee in St. Joseph at EmpowerU at 1pm on 3/7. We are proud of all our participants: Jon, Ben Vaughan, Brittan Russell, and Emersyn Ray. They will be leading the 100th Day of School Parade Friday.
