WELCOME TO 5th GRADE!

Hello and Welcome to 5th Grade!! I am so excited to be your teacher this year at Youngs Grove!

     I received my Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education from Kennesaw State University, my Master's Degree from Piedmont, and my Specialist Degree from Augusta University. This is my sixth year teaching at Youngs Grove, and I can't wait for many more in the future!

      Alabama is the place I call home. I have two grown sons that have babies of their own now. I enjoy all things outdoors as well as reading a good book.

     My philosophy of education is that every child is unique and must have a stimulating and loving environment where they can grow physically, mentally, emotionally, and socially. In our classroom we will learn, we will laugh, and we will live! 

     This is going to be a great year at the Grove!
