Go Jackets!!

This is a phrase I NEVER thought I would say during my lifetime.  As a proud 2002 graduate of Cedartown High School and Georgia Bulldogs fan, the very thought of that phrase sent blasphemous chills up my spine.  However, my wife (2003 Rockmart High School graduate) and I moved to Rockmart in 2010, and we have not looked back. 

I spent the first 5 years of my teaching career at South Paulding High School.  Even though I was doing what I had been called to do, I was not having a direct impact on my community.  So, in the Spring of 2019, we made the decision for me to interview at Rockmart High School.  I have been teaching at RHS, in room 221, ever since with no plans of leaving.  Now, I say it loud and proud:
