Coach Luke is a 1996 graduate of Centennial High School, Champaign, Illinois.  He graduated from Berry College in 2000 with a Bachelor's Degree in Health and Physical Education.  He received his Master's of Arts in Teaching and Learning from Nova Southeastern University in 2006.  Coach has been with Polk School District over 20 years.   Coach Luke has served as an assistant for high school girls basketball, assistant girls middle school basketball, assistant high school baseball, assistant high school softball, assistant middle boys basketball, assistant middle school golf, head high school softball, head high school baseball, head middle school boys basketball, and now currently serves as the head middle school softball coach and the head high school girls basketball coach.   Luke has helped lead these teams totaling over a 1000 wins in his tenure, with middle school boys basketall championships (2), multiple softball region championships, state runners up (2), and a state title for softball in 2017.  He has helped over 50 kids achieve althletic scholarships. 

Coach Luke is married Robin Luke, P.E. teacher at Eastside Elementary and Head Girls Cross Country Coach for RHS.  His Son Trey is a sophomore at RHS and daugther Kat is in 2nd grade at Eastside.
