I am a proud graduate of Rockmart High School (2003). I am married to Ryan who is the assistant principal at Rockmart Middle School. We have three children, Max (9), Anna (7), and Presley (6). Max attends 4th grade, Anna 2nd grade, and Presley is in 1st grade at Van Wert. I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, and being outdoors. I also enjoy baking and making soap in my spare time.

I have always felt that the development of early literacy skills lays the foundation for many future academic achievements. I believe education is very valuable and is something that cannot be taken away from someone. It has always been an honor for me to be a part of someone's lifelong educational journey. Being a teacher allows me to continue this throughout my professional career as well.
