About Me...
My name is Elizabeth Walcher. I am a native of Polk County. I grew up in Rockmart where I graduated from Rockmart High School in 2006. After graduating from Rockmart, I attended Shorter College where I earned my degree in Early Childhood Education. I began my teaching career at Youngs Grove Elementary in the fall of 2010 as a Special Education teacher, where I continued to teach for 7 years. I am entering my 13th year. I previously taught 2 years in 5th grade when I first arrived at Van Wert, then I taught 2nd grade for 3 years. I am very excited to be moving back to 5th grade to teach Math this year at Van Wert Elementary!
