ABOUT ME

I am currently in year 19 of teaching science at Rockmart Middle School. I graduated from Rockmart High School in 1997. In 2001, I received my Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training from North Georgia College & State University (now UNG). In 2007 I received my Master's Degree in Educational Technology from Nova Southeastern University. In 2021, I received my specialist degree in Instructional Technology from Valdosta State University. I currently teach 7th & 8th Grade Science and serve as the Technology Specialist for the elementary schools in Polk School District.

MY FAMILY

I have been married to Coach Archie Scott, who also teaches at Rockmart Middle School, for 22 years. We reside in Rockmart. Our daughter, Emma (19), attends Reinhardt University and plays softball for the Lady Eagles. Our son, Will (15), attends Rockmart High School (10th Grade). In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family, supporting my kids at various events, and relaxing.
